After a weekend of up and down tummy problems, I took Arabella to the doctor on Monday. Dr. Yancy said it appears to be a rotavirus, which will have to run its course. I am feeding her bananas and toast and rice, mostly.
I had my teeth scaled, down below the gumline. Very painful, even with nitrous and numbing. And then the pain set in after all the novocaine wore off. But now, less than 48 hours later, I can see a big difference in my gums, and my mouth feels better, on the side they worked on. Now I have to go back next week to do the other half of my mouth ...
Knitting is coming along, I switched to a bigger needle for the dishrags, and they are now looser and bigger, but I think it is an improvement. I'm working on a little "arabella" hat for a friend of Mom's. I finally finished the t-shirt rug for Arabella, it is really cute, but ... much smaller than it felt when I was making it. Its about 12" x 30", a little strip of a rug. I'm thinking when I get some more black t-shirts for yarning I'll knit a border on the sides, to make it wider, but for now I'm working on small and fast projects.
