Sometimes I wonder where I left my brain

Sabine seems to doing OK in the crib. I don't think she has yet sussed out that Mamma leaves the room. Let's keep it that way.

Sometimes I forget the wonderful reasons I place limits on Arabella, and get things that I would have liked as a child, like chocolate Easter bunnies. Some of you may not realize that I am allergic to chocolate, the way I loooove chocolate. What are my symptoms, you ask? Why, I break out in zits. Oh, you say, everyone gets that. Not when you are 2 years old, I say. Oh. When I was a kid I rarely ate chocolate. At Easter I got white chocolate Easter bunnies and carob Easter treats. Carob milk and ice cream, white chocolate candy bars. This is why I don't much care for white chocolate, it was what I always got instead of the real deal. It was the fake-out.

So although I got Arabella non-food treats (Spongebob dvd's and laundry hamper, a pony with bunny ears) I decided to get her a few jelly beans and mini-Cadbury eggs, and

a Chocolate Easter Bunny.

Arabella is so high on chocolate she threw away more than half of her breakfast uneaten(2.5 slices of turkey bacon), hit up creepy strangers at church for more candy, and generally has been the wild creature we haven't seen since last Halloween.

It's tempting to tell her she's allergic to chocolate, too.

LOL!! That is an awesome way to not give a kid suger!! I might have to use that with Evie. She hasn't discovered the joy of suger yet but I know she will soon. =)

We're high on jelly beans over here...I feel your pain. Sad to have missed your exhibit on Saturday...so much craziness. I want to hear about it!
