My little ballerina in action

I'm so tired right now. Sabine still has thrush, and is super-crabby, my in-laws are visiting (which I am really enjoying, but it requires me to plan ahead and schedule more).

Yesterday was the end of summer ballet recital. Now that Arabella's moved up to intermediate level, it's a production. One of the mothers went all out. She made the set, the kitty ears and tails to match the girls' (borrowed) tutus. I painted whiskers on the girls' and they were ready.

Arabella performed much better this time, she wasn't so nervous in front of an audience, and actually followed cues and danced. I am so proud of her.

This would be a great shot if it didn't include Sabine ruffling my father-in-laws hair.

With the in-laws visiting and helping out with bedtime, I stayed out late with my knitting friends and finished the first half of my grandmothers birthday present - hummingbird washcloths.

I drew and charted the hummingbird myself. Two fine art degrees should be good for something.

Arabella looks so good! She has the body of a ballerina even if her balance and grace are still developing. Go Bella!! =)

p.s. impressive and very pretty washcloth!
