Crazy Days

We haven't even really gotten used to being back to school and yesterday was crazy.
We went to an orchard and Arabella picked apples. I'm planning on making a pie with them, as they are a bit on the tart side, even for me. But picking apples was such an amazing thing to do with the kids.

As soon as we finished and got back from the orchard it was time to run off to ballet, where Arabella did very well, but most of her old friends weren't there. One is in school, two wanted to switch to gymnastics. I'm sad to be without my buddies, too, but without the distractions of our girlfriends I got alot of knitting done and Arabella paid better attention in class.
Then home, and as soon as Michael got home I had to attend a ceramics dpt. meeting. Even though my classes this fall have been cancelled (for lack of enrollment, which has me even more sad), I still need to appear and make sure they know I'm still part of hte department. By the time i got home and everyone was fed it was getting late, and I didn't make an appearance at my Wednesday night knitting group.
On the good side, I got a commission done, and it will get shipped this afternoon, I'm really happy with how it came out.
