Grandmere's visit

My mom visited for Rosh Hashana (since she had a long weekend). At first Sabine wasn't too sure she liked this person she hasn't seen since she was a week old, but, perhaps because my mother and I have nearly identical voices and speech patterns, Sabine became quick pals with Grandmere, leaing against Grandmere's leg while she played.

We had a great time.

We went shopping. Sabine tried out a leather armchair in her size.

We went out for dinner.

Sabine liked bbq. Especially corn.

Somehow I didn't get any pictures of Arabella with Grandmere, but they had a great time, too. Arabella was very sad when Grandmere went home.
