Hiding under a rock

That's where you will find me, right now, is hiding under a rock. I haven't been taking pictures, because I think it is cruel to take photos of sick children. Cruel to me, cruel to them. And two weeks ago Sabine was sick. She improved in time for my mother to visit from Los Angeles, and we had a wonderful visit. But the day Mom left we noticed a rash around Sabine's mouth. We figured it was just from her pacifier, but within an hour of Mom's departure I noticed the rash was on her tongue, too. The Doctor said it was hand-foot-mouth disease, yucky but not hazardous. By the time Sabine was feeling better Arabella had developed a sore throat that developed into croup by this past Tuesday. Arabella is feeling mostly better, but now Sabine is not sleeping well.

I'll come out of my rock soon. I promise.

Sorry about the sick kids. My little one had HFM disease and it sucked to go through! We haven't had to deal with croup, but that can't be fun either.
