First Pro Haircut

Arabella had her first haircut this morning, at Cookie Cutters, a salon for small children. She didn't fuss even a tiny bit, and sat patiently in the pink Barbie Car, watching Strawberry Shortcake on tv while Kara (the stylist) cut her hair. She took about 1 inch off the bottom, and gave it a little layering to keep the curls showing nicely, and then gave her very short bangs (at Momma's request). And then she got a lollipop and a balloon. We went to Wal-Mart after and bought: a mosaic glass tochiere lamp for $10, a rosebush, grass seed, refrigerator alphabet and numbers, yarn for a sweater for Jen's baby, crayons, and lots more... Trying to guide Arabella around the store was like herding cats. But she is so cute in her new haircut. Picture to follow soon
