Signs of Spring

This morning, while preparing the morning tea, I could hear mourning doves cooing. In the front yard, the daffodils are blooming. Costco is full of gardening supplies, and the drug store is full of giant chocolate bunnies. The weather is still chilly, and most everyone is sick, but clearly spring has arrived.

Arabella is talking more daily. Friday, I made a loud noise in the kitchen and from the diningroom Arabella calls out "You okay?" Which is what I always first say when she falls. This week her favorite books are Indescribably Arabella and Here comes Grandma.
