Two days ago I bought some Malabrigo laceweight yarn. I have lusted after Malabrigo yarn for quite some time, it's wool, but so soft I could gleefully nest in it. It's handpainted, with interesting color combinations. And I saw a project I felt would be perfect.
That night, the Malabrigo mill, where they do all their dyeing and handpainting, burned down.
Then last night, after I went to bed, the weather got bad. This mornings news is full of how Eastside Indianapolis got blown into Ohio, houses without roofs. Apparently Michael went out in the blowing madness at 1 am and rescued our new patio furniture. He dashed around the backyard laying down sculptures and moving toys up against the house. This morning the yard looks fine, except for one huge Maple limb laying on our front lawn.

I saw the radar map of that storm last night as it hit IN. It's due here in the next hour or so.
That maple needs to be tamed anyway.
