Knitting debacle update

When I started Michaels sweater, I carefully checked the pattern, figured out how many yards the pattern called for and ordered a little extra (like one skein over what I thought I would need). I thought I was being liberal with the estimate, since I was using the yardage of the number of skeins recommended in the pattern and adding on about 100 yards.

But now I am started on the sleeves, and I am getting worried. It took exactly 6 skeins to do the front, 6 skeins plus a little extra to do the back plus the neck, and I have 7 skeins left, and I am concerned. I am using the yarn doubled, and I am knitting both sleeves at the same time (galley knitting, it guarantees that the sleeves match, even if I increase at the wrong time), and I am almost at the end of 4 (four) balls of yarn, and the sleeves are, well, short. When I asked Michael how he would like short sleeves he gave me The Look. Maybe I should have unravelled the Front and reknit it at 80 stitches instead of redoing the narrower back. It is a very large sweater, but Michael perceives himself to be a very large man. (He is a large man, but more in height than girth)

The good news is that I checked Elann's website and they have plenty of Dark Olive Sonata yarn, so ordering another 4 skeins won't be a problem, but if I order a little sonata, I should probably order a little ... something else too, you know, to make the shipping worthwhile ...

One thing about this sweater, it is so heavy that Michael will lose weight just wearing it around, I think it weighs more than my Carolina (motorcycle) boots. Its a medicine ball sweater.
