Arabella recovered from pneumonia, and so we made the trip to Philadelphia where Arabella immediately came down with a cold. Arabella loved her "big girl bed" and Gramma and Pop-pop's, loved the Santa bringing presents story, loved playing the piano. She did not love the heating system at Pop-pops, which creaks and pings and ticks all night.
We got back and I had a cold, followed closely by food poisoning. For 5 days I barely ate anything, and lost 5 pounds. Not my preferred dieting method. Ick. I'm getting back to normal, but still a little sensitive.
Michael gave up smoking for New Years, since to continue would mean a bigger chunk for health insurance taken out of his constantly shrinking State employee salary. He also joined the gym, and has been going after work this week. It's been a long time since he was going to a gym regularly, and I'm sure it will help with the smoking.

So where did you pick up food poisoning? On the way home?
I like the shed. That will keep things from under foot around the yard. I would think a lot of the items from the mud room would go there, too.
Can you tell Mike to hunch over when he wears that sweater?
I just finished the door to the linen closet today. A little more trim and it done. I'll send pictures.
I think I got food poisoning from a bad egg in making muffins -- I licked the batter off the spoon. But I could be wrong
