Blue Monday, and it's a good thing

Here is Arabella wearing pigtails. I snuck up on her while she was perusing the Bob Evans map (planning our next trip by meals, I suppose), and once she realized I was taking pictures she began posing, which led to goofiness which led to her accidentally biting her own fingers. Which is why the second picture shows her crying.

Arabella picked out her blue ponytail holders and matching barrettes, and I thought it was very fitting for the day of The Big Game. It was a really thrilling game. I'm really glad the Colts won, the only part I don't like is that now we will be subjected to a full week of Colts media. That is to say, the newspaper and local television will be featuring Colts stories for another 7 days, on top of the 14 days we have been subjected to already. This town really loves its sports. Well, except the Pacers, but they're thugs.

I got most of the Piggle hat done last night, it is coming along nicely, and I don't think I made any terrible mistakes despite knitting while I was watching the game. All I have left are shaping the crown and knitting the pigtail holes. Arabella may be disappointed that it is white instead of pink, the pink fun fur was really disastrous. Robin recommended I dye it, but it is a synthetic yarn, and those are resistant to dying.
