I am feeling better, though not well enough to drag myself and Arabella through the ice and snow to church today. I know Arabella is tired of me being sick -- we haven't left the house since Thursday, and she is missing seing her friends and going "Shop-Ping". I want one more day to recuperate before my class tomorrow.

For those of you who know me well, I'm sure you are wondering about the church reference in the previous paragraph. When I told my father that Arabella and I had been attending a church service, there was nearly a minute of silence, then he got really excited. His heart may have stopped for a moment in delighted shock. We have been going to a Unitarian Church. It's very green, very liberal, very easy-going. But they have "religious education" for the kids instead of sunday school, and that was really the reason I was looking for a church: religious education that wasn't ultra-christian indoctrination. Arabella is still rather young, but better to get into it now than later.
