Sabine and sleep

Sabine looks almost exactly like Arabella did as an infant. She is social and alert, just like Arabella. But there are differences, too. Sabine sleeps better than Arabella, falls asleep easier, sleeps longer. Sabine is content being out of my arms, as long as she can see me, which I could never do with the infant Arabella -- nothing less than being held was acceptable.

Sabine has one other difference from Arabella -- she cries in her sleep. Not just a whimper, but a squealing, hyperventilating, "I'm drowning in air!" sort of crying. It can last as long as 10 minutes. Nothing comforts her. And she is totally asleep. This has been happening about once a week for about 6-8 weeks. It's louder each time. It doesn't freak me out now, but it is a bit disconcerting. Now I am wondering, can a 3 month old baby have night terrors?
