Death and the Preschooler

Our church is near a cemetery, and today as we drove by Arabella said--

"Mommy, when I was dead, you could bury me there, and then I would grow and I would be an Arabella tree, with lots of Arabella's on it."

I had to think about this for a little bit to realize she was making a connection between burying the dead and planting seeds.
