Note to Self

Hey self, there are some things we need to discuss, and make sure we remember these lessons.

First off, under no circumstances are you to do any more winter/spring/early summer shows ever again. If it can't be done in August through November, it should not be done. The studio is too cold, and my tolerance for freezing my fingers off is minimal. Add to that the issues of childcare in cold and flu season, and I think you will agree it is a bad idea.

In addition to not attempting to complete a body of artwork in the colder seasons, I think it is time to pakc in the studio during the winter months. That means no storage of clay, so that the studio can remain unheated for the duration of winter. Obviously that won't work this winter, but next winter I expect you to use up all the clay before Thanksgiving.
