Yesterday the thing I was dreading came into being. Both Arabella and Sabine are sick now, Arabella progressed from a cough to sneezing big ropes of snot. Sabine suddently is congested and crabby. And last night, after I had left to head off to teach, Arabella and Sabine vomited, less than an hour apart. Arabella just barfed on the floor but Sabine vomited all over Michael. I think Michael has never been so glad to head off to work as he was this morning, leaving me with the two sick children.
So I'm feeding the girls orange juice and chicken nuggets and oatmeal. I'm keeping them inside and warm and as calm as they can be kept.

Hey Cara! Got your call. I was up all night the night before being a doula for a friends very long labor and delivery. Now my in-laws are here for the weekend! No rest for the weary. Hope you all are feeling better soon! Lets catch up next week!

There is nothing sadder than a vomiting child. I do hope they feel better soon and come back to their usual mischief@
