
Here is Arabella in her new poncho, knitted from out-of-production Mission Falls 1824 Wool (superwash) with Berroco suede fringe and crocheted border. The hood keeps falling back, so I think I will have to make a tie at the neck. Also notice the legwarmers, knitted from Sassy Stipes this summer, and the munchkin is already getting too big for them. I guess she could just use them as arm warmers. Please note the lovely sunflower in the background, one of the few not knocked down or gnawed by (evil) squirrels.
And yes, Michael's alpaca hat did (finally) dry out, and is soft and fuzzy and fits very nicely.
Today Michael has been sanding the mudroom floor, trying to get down to a layer that will be acceptable for tiling. We have a huge quantity of tile we bought for the kitchen before my dad refinished the wood floor for us. Mudrrom and two bathrooms, and then ...
