Post Picture Day Post

Hold Your Horses! I have anxious grandparents wanting pics the next day? I know its a new millenia, but class photos have not gone overnight. I rememebr the good old days (quavery grandma voice) when it took months, yes, months to get class pictures back, and then you had to order the ones you wanted ...

And I have found that picture day is a synonym for HELL. The teacher, Mrs. Ireland, was tense, the kids were all discomboblulated, and with novice parents, we were a mess. Ava, sweet but shy and stubborn, screamed, Josh got up after each picture, and the photographer wanted me to get the kiddies to kneel, and then she takes the picture, and half of the kids are looking somewhere else, so she takes another one, but by this timewe've lost whatever novelty we had going for us, and the kids are getting cranky and distracted. I mean really, they're 2, what can you expect? Arabella was very cute in her brown cords, and striped pink sweater, but she took the photo process so very seriously I don't know if we have any pics with her really smiling. Which is funny, since at home she is a bundle of laughs. I will put pics on the blog as soon as I get them, Frank.
