I've got ...

Walking Pneumonia. The early stages, so the doctor put me on antibiotics. Between the long drive (by Indiana standards), the long wait, and then the quest for a pharmacy that would take my insurance (there seemed to be some glitch that everyone with my insurance was being declined for prescriptions, not just me) the whole trip took about 3 1/2 hours. Thats right, I drove to the doctor, drove to 2 pharmacies and then straight home, and it took 3 1/2 hours.

I started knitting a pair of fingerless mitts last night, and discovered I only have enough yarn for one mitt. Michael suggested I dress it up with some sequins and just do a Michael Jackson. He's so funny. As it is a gray/taupe alpaca, I think that would look ... odd. And of course, it is something I bought in a bin at the State Fair, so I can't get more. What can I make with about 80 yards of gray alpaca? I am thinking of getting some black wool out and doing something stripey, mitt-like and seeing how it works out. I'll let you know.

Aha!! Walking pneumonia. It's a good thing you found a doctor to tell you that's what it is. Almost impossible to shake on your own, you know.

Sending out some CD's with pictures and a couple short videos.

Hey, the NEW car is gray. Maybe it can have its own Woobie. Do you think alpaca is too upscale for a Camry?

the alpaca yarn is really more of a taupe than a gray, and the new car is more of a BLUE than a gray, does the new car need a woobie all its own for xmas?

The new car is blue on the outside and gray on the inside. What color is taupe?

I guess if I knew what color taupe was, I'd have color coordinated throw pillows, drapes and valences in there already.

A Christmas woobie would be wonderful. Alliteration aside.

Taupe is a gray that shades towards brown. You probably would call it tan. And tan is the color of the old woobie. The alpaca yarn is a little more gray than the old woobie, but closer to that color than to gray or blue.
